| | Sass playing the games on the extra features of the Lion King DVD | ] | Long day due to over imbibing last night. Well worth it though! Also Keenie bought Katie in to meet me, what a sunny, happy little bundle of fun she is! And she approved of my 'chippies.'
Tonight was very busy but it all died down by eight.
Quote of the night: Mel: 'Ben and I are going to get married!' (much wedding talk today) 'and I'm going to be the groom and Ben is going to be the bride!' Ben: 'No way! Well, only if it's a f**king nice dress...sage green silk with gloves that go over my elbows and a garland of green roses and a black garter with skulls on it...I've put way too much thought into this...' |

Hahaha! That's a brilliant quote!
the katie logic is that it doesnt matter what else you can cook and how well you do it... it's all about the chippies. they have to be tasty and yummy and mmmmmmm in the eyes of my lil monsta.
Oh, hurro thar. Here is the cake I want, in all its paisley-tastic glory. If it could be a champagne-y sort of colour rather than white, that'd be awesome. The green paisley is the right shade as it is. I'll need a different colour ribbon, but I'll get you that. The slab cake needs to feed about 75 drunk people. I think that's it.... Thanks heaps :D
Noted. Are you getting a florist to do the topper?
Ergh, right. Topper. I'll get that sorted, too.
And, er, what flavour cake were you after?
I think, given the scope of the cake with the tiers and all, it would feed 75. As in order to make it look not silly I would do the base at 12" the middle at 9" and the top at 6". That is a serious lot of cake. So it's up to you on whether or not you want the slab.
I can do a fondant topper of flowers and wank, but you're looking at a lot more than a cheap florist there, fondant takes time.
What I mean by making it not silly is if I did a standard square as the base the top tier would be 2" across, which would look rather silly imo.
Oops, I didn't mean 'as in order,' I meant 'and in order.' | |
